Founded in 1995, the early days of China's economic takeoff, with registered capital of USD2.5 million and aggregate investment of USD4.4 million, Haitai is one of the first businesses in Zhoushan City that were granted sanitary certification for exportation.
Haitai is situated in one of the trade-liberalized areas on the eastern seaborad of China. Occupying a 1.6-hectare prime site, it boasts well-equipped facilities of GFA 12,000 sqm, including 2,000 sqm of production space and a 10,000-ton storage complex, and a dedicated and skilled workforce.
With an annual production capacity of 12,000 tons and a daily quick/deep freezing capacity of 150 tons, Haitai specializes in sourcing, processing, climate-controlled storage, and trading (domestic and foreign) of seafood. Sales footprint covers the domestic market and overseas destinations, including Southeast Asia, East Asia (Japan & South Korea), South America, Africa and the Middle East. Our products cover a wide range of semi-processed frozen seafood, including swimming crabs, yellow croakers, hairtails, pomfrets, monkfish, shrimps and octopuses, to name but a few, and a variety of fully processed products (see the Products page).
Haitai is committed to ensuring the quality and hygiene of its products in strict accordance with HACCP and SSOP requirements. Haitai complies with the regulations on importation of aquatic products enforced by FDA and EEC Directives in processing management and facility standards.
